We knew a quiet land the future in our hands like promise  but he’d been ready for some time  just waiting for the sun to rise

Now I see this barren place one small man a smiling face after his game of pain
This was not a masterplan we never need to understand but now you’ve made your claim for fame

Who saw the silent man hiding in our land like a monster

Started to think wild thoughts of doom but the second I saw you my heart turned around

and conceptions of life fell to the ground and now all I feel is
